Litho Development Engineer, Research
Job Description:
FormFactor is a growing, industry leader in the design, development, manufacture, sale and support of precision, high performance advanced semiconductor wafer probe cards. FormFactor was founded in 1993 and in 1995, established its headquarters, as well as its R&D and manufacturing operations, in Livermore, California. FormFactor introduced its first wafer probe card based on MicroSpring interconnect technology in 1995, and now is the leading supplier of advanced wafer probe cards, based on revenues. In June 2003, FormFactor completed its initial public offering of stock and is traded on Nasdaq National Market under the symbol FORM. We are currently seeking talented candidates for the following position.
MEMS Lithography Engineer
-Responsible for MEMS lithography process development in MEMS research department
-Responsible for materials/tools evaluation, process development, and technology transfer into manufacturing
-Inspection, yield estimation, reliability analysis, problem identification, and DOE setup for MEMS process development
-Wafers and materials tracking and scheduling
-Documentation of recipes, process of records, specifications and front-up/back-up approaches
Job Requirements:
-Engineering degree in MEMS, ME, EE or equivalent
-Hands-on experience with MEMS processing, including photolithography, thin film depositions, dry/wet chemical etchings, and sputtering
-In depth understanding the functions and limitations of MEMS litho processing and equipment are required
-Experience with tool customization and machine shop operation are plus
