MS Access/VB Financial Applications Developer

We have an immediate need for 2 Access/VBA developers to design, build, test, deploy, and document mathematically complex financial applications making use of sophisticated statistical analysis and related modeling techniques. Experience developing applications for the Financial Industry is strong plus but not required ? industry specific guidance will be provided through SME?s. Must be capable of working under tight deadlines. Must be expert in MS Access/VBA, Macros, Access SQL, Excel Macros, and VB6. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Develop VBA/Access business applications:
? Must be able to develop reports and develop applications in native Access/VBA
? Must be strong in Access SQL
? Strong communication skills
? Solid team player
? Experience working many data sources to import/export to MS Access databases: text/ASCII, Excel spreadsheets, ODBC.
? Financial Applications or Brokerage Industry experience is strong plus
? Strong front-end and backend development in native Access environment
Ideal/Preferred Skills: 
Technical skill level must include experience working closely with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into workable applications, and be able to implement the code/test/debug/release cycle in a timely fashion. Experience building applications using:
? MS Access XP development environment -- required
? Expert VBA coding experience -- required
? Excel Macros experience -- required
? Mid-level VB6 knowledge -- required
? Financial Industry experience ? a plus
? Advanced Mathematics background or Computer Science Degree ? a plus
? Extensive Statistics background or knowledge of Equity Investments a plus
