Manager of Hardware Sustaining - Milpitas, CA

Summary:

In this very important role, we are looking for an energetic technical leader with extensive experience in hardware design, system debug, and test with strong a process background for development of enterprise-level products. Our ideal candidate will lead day-to-day efforts of our hardware sustaining organization, working closely with design engineering, manufacturing, and test engineering. Responsibilities include hands-on management of electrical and mechanical sustaining engineering, document control, and engineering process development.

Requirements: 8+ years overall industry experience with 4+ years in board and system design (power, EMI, thermal, etc.)  2+ years managing hardware engineering and/or sustaining efforts Proficiency with with mechanical design, DVT, Agile document control systems, and agency testing (UL, FCC, etc.) Experience in storage, networking, and/or security is a strong plus  BSCS/EE or equivalent required
