Microsoft System Admin II

Description:
IT System Services is responsible for the support, deployment, and enhancement of the technical and application infrastructures used to support and promote the organizational functions of ING Direct. This will include all application support, database administration, server support, internetworking and telecommunications support and development of the technical infrastructure to support the growing needs of ING Direct.

Qualifications:
* 4 years in a medium to large sized distributed systems environment.
* Solid project management skills and the demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
* The demonstrated ability to work with personnel from all levels of the organization across multiple corporate locations.
* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
* Measurements
- Service availability for all production systems
- Service performance relative to service requests and customer satisfaction
- Expense management relating to systems maintenance and equipment
support

Education and/or Certifications:
* Four-year degree in related discipline or 4 years experience
* Continued training and study in Technology and Business Leadership.
* Technical training (certification) on Microsoft Windows platform design and support

Technical skills and abilities:
* Working knowledge of scripting languages and programming methodologies.
* Ability to lead and motivate complex technical teams.
* Ownership and accountability for production level issues.
* Formal knowledge and practice of a Quality Process and Project Management philosophies and principles

Working Conditions:
* Flexibility with respect to hours, nights and weekends required.
* 10-30% Travel
* Off hours support as needed
