Military Operations Officer (WSMR)

JOB DESCRIPTION :   Assignment to supervisor at Fort Lewis, WA, with duty at White Sands Missile Range.  Primary duties will be to support Future Combat Systems Test and Evaluation activities using EPG Test Tool Kit capabilities.  Secondary responsibilities include but are not limited to coordination with FCS LSI representatives, EPG and WSMR government Test Officers, and visitors.  May also be tasked to represent NewTec Task Leader at meetings and conferences on site and at other locations as required.  Travel to other sites such as Washington, Arizona, Texas, and other FCS sites will be required; training will be provided at Fort Lewis on assumption of duties.

Position is a new one being established at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, as a part of the Army Future Combat Systems (FCS) support to the Evaluation Brigade Combat Team. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor?s degree with ten years experience in military operations required.  Recent experience in Army research, development, and test efforts desired.  Command and General Staff College or equivalent military education and direct experience with military C4I systems are desirable.  Applicant must have a valid driver?s license with an insurable driving record.  Candidate selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must be granted an Interim Security clearance within 90 days of employment date.
