Adacel Systems, Inc. (ASI) is an American small business that produces simulation and training systems for commercial, defense and export markets.

 

ASI offers a comprehensive range of fully scaleable customizable simulation systems from desktop trainer to complete 360-degree room-sized Air Traffic Control tower environments.  We provide professional ATC training simulation systems for governments, universities and civilian air traffic control agencies worldwide.

 

The Project Technical Lead reports to the Director, US Programs.

 Responsibilities

? Create System Design Document based on contract requirements;

? Create Bill Of Material;

? Assist with hardware selection and qualification

? Create procedures for software installation and upgrades;

? Verify system configuration management;

? Maintain internal test beds and demo systems;

? Support internal development and test teams;

? Hardware and Software Integration;

? Lead installation team;

? Conduct system administrator/maintenance training classes

? Coordinate handover to internal support organization

? Support simulator installations via phone and e-mail as necessary;

? Provide occasional internal IT support as required;

? Provide input to the documentation team.

 Requirements

? Appropriate technical degree and a minimum 2 years applicable work experience, 4 year technical degree preferable;

? Proficient with LINUX scripts and excellent working knowledge of LINUX;

? Experience configuring and troubleshooting Windows / LINUX Ethernet networks;

? Proficient with Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office;

? Good working knowledge of Windows scripting;

? Multitasking self-starter who can work with minimal supervision;  attention to detail;

? Must be able to travel to install simulators; occasional travel worldwide required to conduct programs;

? Currently has or is able to obtain a U.S. passport;  must be able to obtain a secret clearance;

? Must have good oral and written communications skills.

 Desirable Skills

? Linux and Microsoft Windows certifications;

? Knowledge of aviation or air traffic control practices and concepts;
