Job Description:


FormFactor is a growing, industry leader in the design, development, manufacture, sale and support of precision, high performance advanced semiconductor wafer probe cards. FormFactor introduced its first wafer probe card based on MicroSpring interconnect technology in 1995, and now is the leading supplier of advanced wafer probe cards, based on revenues. In June 2003, FormFactor completed its initial public offering of stock and is traded on Nasdaq National Market under the symbol FORM.  We are currently seeking talented candidates for the following position.

 

Physical Layout Designer:

1)  Ceramic physical design (routing, trace length adjustment, verification etc.) 2)  Create and maintain libraries, templates and reuses.
3)  Verification for new design tools and feedback to development team.
4)  Develop design process to reduce design cycle time and to eliminate defect.
5)  Create design document.
6)  Attain monthly and yearly design goals established by management.
7)  Utilize a logical design approach to prevent design defects.
8)  Manage the design problem escalation process to enable fast resolution.

Job Requirements:


 

1)  Minimum 3 years experience in PCB or Semi-conductor layout field.
2)  Minimum 2 years experience of Cadence EDA tools. 
3)  Knowledge and skill in SKILL language and / or Specctra Router.
4)  Scripting skill in perl, csh, make etc.
5)  Willing to create documentation.
