Scope of Position :
Future projects available, but not limited to the following:
1. SAP implementation
2. Direct material cost/lead-time reduction project
3. Make versus Buy analysis
4. Various Reverse logistics/material reclamation projects
5. Indirect material cost reductions
6. Inventory analysis

Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Develop and/or revise production schedules in accordance with customer requirements and manufacturing capacity.
- Develop inventory targets that are agreeable to both Manufacturing and Marketing by evaluating usage and forecast tends and patterns.
- Maintain proper inventory levels to ensure maximum use of Corning Cable Systems Resources.
- Review and give input to Product Line Materials Analyst to ensure forecast reasonableness.
- Coordinate schedules with customer service, suppliers, receiving, manufacturing and shipping to ensure customer?s requirements are met.
- Develop and implement various reports and graphs in written and verbal form.
- Interact with customers and suppliers as required.
- Utilize MRP system to develop purchasing plans and production schedule.

Hours of Work/Work Schedule/flex-time:
8-5; M-FREQUIREMENTSRequired Skills
1. BSBA or equivalent
2. Fluent in English; both written and spoken
3. Develop and complete reports, presentations, spreadsheets and graphics using a PC with related hardware
4. The ability to perform error free work

Desired Skills:
1. BSBA in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
2. Fluent in Spanish a plus
3. 5 Years experience in production planning or scheduling in a multi-product organization.
4. Solve complex problems

Soft Skills:
1. Familiarity with supply chain management and manufacturing terminology and procedures
2. Interface and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel internal and external to the company
3. Take ownership of tasks and projects and manage to completion on time every time
4. Work effectively as a team member, leader and facilitator
5. Prioritize multiple tasks and manage to completion

Education and Experience:
1. BSBA or equivalent; Supply Chain Management concentration preferred.
