SADID:



The Systems Architecture Design and Integration Directorate is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within IDS. More than 1000 employees of SADID provide requirement definition and design at the system, subsystem and component level. Supporting these activities is modeling and simulation, system effectiveness and operational analysis, radar systems design, algorithm development, tracking and discrimination.




Job Description:



The position will primarily be responsible for leading a task (team) in Joint Systems of Systems (SoS) architecture definition, allocation and performance/cost trade studies (CAIV) as it pertains to Systems Architecture and Functional Design. The task effort will further require supporting Tactical Software Requirements development including design oriented tactics and associated human task/automated doctrine for combat system design. This position extensively utilizes Modeling and Simulation tools to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed architecture(s).




Basic Requirements:

- Large Scale Systems of Systems Architecture/Operations Research experience
- Naval Weapons, Sensors and C4ISR Systems Design knowledge
- Functional or Object Oriented Requirements Development experience
- DOD security clearance ? Active Secret
- Strong Communications/Presentation skills



Required Education:
- BS Engineering, Mathematics, Physics



Desired Skills :
- Human Factors Engineering experience
- Zachmann, DODAF, TOGAF Architectural Framework/Application knowledge


- Applications knowledge: System Architect (equivalent), Rose UML modeling, statistical analysis (equivalent)
