Support

Center (VOSC) is seeking 2 highly motivated Product Support Representatives to provide technical escalations support to end users and onsite repair technicians. This position requires individuals capable of working on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data are necessary.  Must be able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.  Individuals must be capable of troubleshooting hardware and software problems by telephone or internet and identify the failed hardware component when necessary.

 

Excellent communication and organization skills are required. Must possess in-depth knowledge of personal computer hardware, operating systems (i.e. Windows, DOS) and software applications including advanced Microsoft Windows expertise. Strong problem solving skills and a proven ability to troubleshoot technical requirements, software implementation and connectivity issues.

 



Requires AA/AS and minimum 2 years related experience.  In lieu of AA degree, must have minimum 4 years of experience. 

In depth knowledge of  Sony Notebooks and Desktops is preferred.

Requires excellent phone skills and command of the English language.

Minimum 2 years experience in P.C. hardware repair and troubleshooting. 

MCSE and A+ certification preferred.

Must have proven ability to troubleshoot problems related to peripheral devices used with Sony computers.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and overtime is required
