Programmer

Pediatrix Medical Group, the nation's largest provider of neonatal and maternal-fetal physician services, is now seeking an enthusiastic team player to join our Pediatrix Screening Lab near Pittsburgh, PA.  Pediatrix Screening specializes in newborn metabolic screening with more than 2.5 million babies screened to-date using the most advanced techniques available including biochemical assays, tandem mass spectrometry, and molecular testing.

The essential duties of the selected candidate will include the design, testing, upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing support of all systems developed internally including system databases, front ends and interfaces between all major sub-systems.



Knowledge/Skills Preferred:

- Candidate should have a Bachelors Degree or 2 ? 3 years related business field experience (Health Care Industry experience preferred)



- Candidate must have strong analytical and business process development skills with the ability to effectively multi-task and be detail oriented



- Candidate must possess strong programming skills utilizing .Net, PowerBuilder and SQL Server



- Candidate must have working knowledge of SourceSafe and Remedy



- Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
