Security Engineer

Job Title:  Security Engineer (3025-06)

 

Job Description: Special Skills desired for selected candidates: Highly knowledgeable and skilled in Security Engineering for all I1S1programs and activities

Required Skills:

Must possess skills to support the following ISSE Activities:

  a. Development of system security architectures

  b. Provide security guidance to space system customers

  c. Support technical meetings and reviews

  d. Support the endorsement process for Information Assurance (IA) products

  e. Prepare technical/security documentation

  f. Conduct studies, gather information for analysis or synthesis, and prepare documents that describe the security and operational functionality of a system

  g. International Partner Interoperability

  h. Cryptographic Verification (CV) documentation review and CV testing.

  i. Analyze how a vendor?s actual designs are compliant/non-compliant with all security requirements

  j. Report how security is in compliance with requirements

  k. Help the certification team

 

 

Education:  Bachelor?s degree. Minimum of three years of experience.

 

Location: This full-time position located in Ft. Meade, Maryland.

 

Positions require a TOP SECRET security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of full screening polygraph.  Clearance and polygraph processing to be completed by the U.S. Government.
