Security Specialists Needed with Secret Clearance

The selected Security Specialist will provide daily security support to classified government programs; will develop, coordinate and effectively communicate the design and implementation of Computing System Security Plans; will resolve conflicts between business strategies and overall security requirements; responsible for implementing the security requirements of government requirements documents. Able to work with and understand emerging technologies in computing, systems management and networking, and IS security. Present security briefings to customers, and investigate, analyze and resolve technical questions. Possesses a strong working knowledge of one or more of the following systems: UNIX, LINUX, SGI, SUN or Windows operating systems.  Able to work with and understand information technology, local and/or wide-area networking, and IT security. Ability to work comfortably in a dynamic environment, with demanding deadlines, to ensure that customer needs are met. Desired attributes including interpersonal, communication, teaming and negotiation skills. Experience as WINDOWS or UNIX system administration a plus. Requires a minimum of 3 yrs in computing security, or as system or network administrator. Requires the ability to work well in a matrix management environment. Must be a US citizen and possess a current Secret clearance. Prefer bachelors or master's degree in Computer Science or related field. Typically the person in this position has 6 or more yrs of experience. CISSP is a plus.
