Senior Mechanical Design Manager

Senior Mechanical Design Manager position reports to VP of Engineering. Responsible for the most highly complex mechanical engineering functions including packaging design, thermal engineering, structural analysis & environmental testing of electro-mechanical devices and systems. Must have experience leading and mentoring teams of 5 or more engineers. Working knowledge of FEA and CFD tools required (ie. Ansys and Icepak). Strong background in thermal design along with vibration analysis a must. Must have a working knowledge of standard fabrication methods and ability to communicate with vendors. Knowledge of mechanical considerations for PCB assemblies required. Requires MSME and 5 years management experience.
