JOB DUTIES:

?This position will be the primary technical resource for handheld computers, wireless networking and Order Entry in Retail Technology. Support will be provided for SUPERVALU corporate banners and independent stores and may require travel to retailer locations.Interaction with vendors, business users and SUPERVALU IT staff will be an important part of this position. This will include resolving technology issues and working to develop new systems or processes. The incumbent will provide primary support for:

?????????????????? Symbol and Telxon handheld computers

?????????????????? Wireless networking

?????????????????? Handheld software applications

?????????????????? Order Entry systems????????The incumbent will provide secondary support for:

???????????????????Wintellinet and Scalevision scale management systems

?????????????????? Hobart and Mettler Toledo retail scales

?????????????????? Store receiving systems

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

????Must have 3- 5 years experience in ITMinimum 2 year technical degree Moderate to extensive knowledge of Windows XP, CE.net, Windows Mobile and DOS operating systems. Moderate to extensive knowledge of handheld computers, wired networking and wireless networkingMust be comfortable interacting with end users or making presentations to large groups. Strong organizational and communication skills, self motivation, and the ability to work effectively with many groups in a fast paced retail support environment
