Service Professional SP2

Technology Service Professionals, Inc. is a service provider, offering a broad range of hardware and software services.

 

The Service Professional will ensure customer satisfaction by providing on-call preventive and break/fix hardware maintenance services to Fortune 500 companies on a variety of network storage filers, Unix and Intel servers in an enterprise environment.

 

Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains more than one equipment type. Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures independently, orders and replaces parts as needed. Effectively communicates with customers, peers, and management.  The candidate requires a technical degree, certification, and/or training or 2 or more years of field service or related experience.  Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.  Some degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Completes all administrative duties and training requirements on a timely manner.  Keeps all required technical certifications up to date. Maintains flexibility to travel when required. 

 Mandatory Requirements:

- Effective Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)

- Computer Proficiency

- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

- A+ Certification or equivalent experience

- 2 or more years of field service or related experience

- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs

- (1 ) Job related references, Drug Testing, Background Checks

- Valid Drivers License and Transportation Required

- U.S. citizen or US Resident status

- Network Appliance Experience

- Field Service Experience

- Technical Degree

- Dell, IBM, HP/Compaq Certified

- Unix Workstation Support Experience (SUN, HP, SGI)

- SunOS/Solaris, HP-UX, and/or Unix/Linux Experience

- Training on XP, W2K, Microsoft NT 4.0, Microsoft Office Suite

- Software Certifications:  Microsoft MCP, MCSE, Novell CNA, CNE
