Sr. Network Administrator - Permanent Position

$65,000 to $90,000 per year

Qualifications :
Sr. Windows Systems/Network Administrator - DIRECT HIRE We're looking for someone who is strong on the Windows systems side and has network skills. A LAN or Network Admin in a smaller environment is the ideal candidate. In this position, you will provide direct support to clients and implement advanced WAN & LAN technologies to maximize the performance within an enterprise. Candidates with experience in an IT consulting capacity preferred as well as the ability to assist with all levels of technical operations. In this role, you will be the face of the company, interfacing daily with clients, which requires you to be more than an administrator. We are looking for people who thrive on the challenge of providing solutions and have the unique ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technology. We need someone with a good sense of troubleshooting: a methodical approach, step-by-step with solid documentation. This person should have a repertoire of tools he/she uses for troubleshooting hardware, software applications, platforms, network and system issues. We need someone with the passion for IT, who's not just in it for the business. The right candidate needs to be able to work independently, be organized, and possess good customer follow up/resolution skills. Qualifications : - 5+ years experience as Windows System and/or Network Administrator - Windows 2000 and 2003 server environments- implementation, migration, maintenance - Active Directory; Group Policy; Exchange - Install, configure and support Cisco routers & switches - Checkpoint firewalls, workstations, servers and other equipment for customers - VPN and Printer setup/administration a definite plus - Bachelors degree or relevant work experience equivalent required
