Sr Principal Integrated Master Planner/Scheduler - IDSHQ

A) Required Skills:

Will report to the Program Office and will be responsible for the Engineering coordination of IDS programs and assist in the management of Program activities. Will develop and maintain the Program Master Schedule and Integrated Master Plan. Will assist in planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks and support Risk and Opportunity development mitigation. Will support CAIV activity and ensure IPDS deployment and tailoring is accomplished. Must have expert Microsoft Project and Program planning skills. EVMS highly desirable

1) Program planning: Independently capable of assessing program information and developing cohesive, integrated approach for program plans & schedules

2) Expert in Microsoft Project

3) 8+ years experience in related fields

4) Performs IMS coordination and performance assessments on the program

5) Full understanding of Engineering Development and Production processes

6) Assist in the schedule management of program activities

7) Develop and Maintain the Program Master Schedule/Integrated Master Plan (IMP)/Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)

8) In-depth EVMS knowledge



9) IPDS knowledgeable

10) Act as lead on various special projects for problem solutions

11) Assist IPTs in planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks

12) Support program Risk and Opportunity development and mitigation

13) Support program CAIV activity

14) Identify, sponsor and complete R6S projects

15) Guide and mentor junior engineers in schedule development, etc.

16) Must be able to interact with CAMS, PMs and customer

17) Performa Critical Path/Critical Chain analysis to develop "what if" scenarios



B) Desired Skills: IPT Leadership, Problem solving skills, Ability to balance technical/cost/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction, Ability to use MS Office suite, Risk and Opportunity management, R6S Specialist, Cost Estimating/BOE Generation, Program Management Professional (PMP) Certified, EVMS expert, IPDS Deployment Certified



C) Education: Electrical/Mechanical/Systems or other Engineering Discipline, or equivalent experience. Bachelors Degree. Technical degree in hard science.
