Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions :


Under general supervision, performs SAP software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. Schedules installations and upgrades. Monitors and tunes the SAP system to achieve optimum level of performance. Supports data/media recoverability through system backups and database archive operations. Develops and maintains a database/library of all supporting documentation. Able to conduct SAP installations, use CCMS, execute client copies, SAP transport management (TMS), load balancing, SAP system troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and apply SAP support packages. Typically has 4 to 5 years of SAP Basis experience.

Individual must be organized and capable of working in a self-directed environment because candidate will required to exercise a high degree of flexibility and demonstrate being highly efficient in a multitasking environment. Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong oral and written communication skills required as is working effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Minimum four years of experience as a SAP Basis Administrator supporting a enterprise-wide production R/3 environment
- Minimum one year experience with SAP Exchange Infrastructure (SAP XI)
- Minimum two years experience support SAP R/3 systems in an Oracle Database environment
- Minimum one year experience providing SAP Basis support for the SAP HR module
- Participated in a minimum three full-cycle SAP project implementations
