Your Position
Performs the activities related to planning, installation, operational, administrative, and technical support of the Storage Area Network environment, and associated hardware / software components. Management of hardware and software to maximize system health and performance will be primary goal and objective.

Required to carry pager, on-call rotation with MS administrators

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is preferred. Equivalent work experience may be substituted in lieu of education; preference given to HP Storageworks, Cisco, and SNIA engineering certifications
Five years experience with systems management of large scale, diverse Storage Area Network environment
Five years experience with Storage Area Networks administrative functions
-3-5 years experience supporting large Microsoft environment
Five years experience with systems management of large scale, diverse network environment
Five years experience with system management functions
-Must be able to work with non-technical users, UNIX and MS administrators, PACs administrators, capacity planning, utilization tracking and forcasting storage requirements.

Preferred Requirements:
Experience with at least one operating systems supported by Exempla Healthcare Information Services
Experience with Cisco Network equipment including installation and configuration
Experience with SAN connectivity for MS, IBM, SUN and Compaq/HP servers
Knowledge of PACs (Fuji)
Cisco Storage Networking Support Specialist certification
HP Storage training and certification
Experience using Cisco 9509 switches; network design, AIX, Solaris, SQL.
