Technical Operations Manager – Supply Chain

We have an immediate need for an experienced Technical Operations Manager to manage manufacturing planning and quality management, new product introductions, and to develop and manage product and process documentation.

 

Other responsibilities include:

 

Act as project manager for new product releases and sustaining manufacturing.

 

Administer systems and data for product and marketing materials documentation and lifecycle management, including BOM, Kit, and part setup.

 

Manage product life cycles in partnership with the product team. 

 

Develop and execute quality optimization programs.

 

Manage and perform supplier training, certification, and technical setup.

 

Communicate progress, document results, and maintain project database.

 

Quantify project savings opportunities and document results

 

Develop and document product release and production processes.

 

Manage day-to-day manufacturing activities and quality at contract manufacturers.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

 

6 to 10 years experience in a functional manufacturing environment with hands on planning, NPI, and program management, preferably in a start-up environment.

 

Proven ability to successfully manage multiple commitments and changing priorities.

 

Stellar negotiation and issue resolution skills.

 

Strong supplier-facing skills with poise and sensitivity to relationship management.

 

Excellent written and oral communications skills.

 

Highly organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and to meet deadlines.
