Technical Support Representative

It has revolutionized diagnostic ultrasound imaging by turning it into an intuitive PC application.  Terason?s technology innovations have miniaturized traditional ultrasound technology, creating a product with the same image quality and processing power as traditional ?big box? ultrasound systems at a fraction of the cost and size. Terason?s portable ultrasound will cater to the increasing need for cost containment in the healthcare industry, by bringing the immediacy of ultrasonic diagnosis to the patient at first examination without compromising the diagnostic power of the imaging tool.

 

Terason is currently looking for a highly motivated Tech Support Representative to become part of our Tech Support team. As part of this team, you will have the following job responsibilities:

 

? Provide first-line client support for all applications and products.

? Assist clients with needs, requests and issues via telephone or email in a timely manner.

? Analyze computer software and system configurations to identify customer-reported issues and recommend corrective actions.

? Gather required information from clients and escalate issues to other internal resources according to pre-defined process as required.

 

 

The Technical Support Representative should possess the following characteristics:

 

?  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly phone and email correspondence

?  Strong working knowledge of Windows (2000/XP), Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer

?  At least 1 year of related customer service experience

?  Working knowledge of Internet technologies, including network troubleshooting

?  Additional technical aptitude (hardware, database, etc.) a plus

?  Ability to work independently and as part of a team

?  Willingness to work off hours if needed.
