Technology and Systems Engineer

iCorps Technologies provides superior IT consulting services to small and mid-sized clients in industries such as biotechnology, advertising, venture capital, and architecture. We?re currently seeking a full-time Technology and Systems Engineer for our Boston office.

Job Description:
This position will work with our talented networking team in providing premier consulting services and solutions to our clients. The position involves traveling to client sites within Metro-Boston area as well as within the Greater Boston region. Participation in proposal content, product research and sales meetings with prospective clients may be required.

Responsibilities:
?Provides clients with various technical services pertaining to networks, workstations, remote computing, communications, and Internet solutions
?Proactively provide technology recommendations and solutions to clients
?Properly identifies challenges, recommends and implements solutions

Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
MCSE 2003 certification is preferred
Minimum of 2 plus years experience with the maintaining, troubleshooting and supporting of various technology environments
Comprehensive understanding of operating platforms, connectivity, security and information storage
Must be strong in Windows 2003, 2000 and XP, both server and desktop
Deep knowledge of Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, Outlook
Must understand domains, TCP/IP, VPN?s and firewalls
Working understanding of Blackberry, Palm, etc.
Knowledge of Macintosh, Linux, Unix and Routers a plus
Experience in troubleshooting and project management skills
Proven communication and organizational skills required
Must have ability to effectively communicate at all levels within an organization
Candidates must have an ability to work in a variety of environments, have excellent follow-up skills, provide detailed documentation, and be able to work effectively and independently
