Verification Engineers--SystemVerilog, SystemC, Vera, Specman

Overview


Paradigm Works is working with a number of companies on the development
of large, high-performance ASICs & FPGAs. We need talented
verification engineers, permanent or contract, to fill critical roles.
Roles are located throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.

Engineers must have Specman, Vera or System Verilog skills and be
capable of working in various verification related roles.  The roles
include architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of the
verification environments, development of test plans, functional
coverage plans, regression strategy, test development, and project
scheduling.

 

Candidates must have at least 3 years of cumulative experience with
either Specman, Vera, or System Verilog.  Candidate should be well
versed in state of the art verification methodology, including code
coverage, functional coverage, assertion based verification, directed
random testing, development of test plans, release management and
regression strategies.

 

 

Required Skills

* 3-5 years experience with creating 'e', Vera, or System Verilog
  simulation environments and testbenches.
* Experience with Functional Coverage and Assertion Based Verification.
* Experience with code coverage tools.
* Experience creating and using Verilog/VHDL design environments.
* C/C++ development experience.
* UNIX scripting experience (Tcl, Perl, etc.).
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

Desired skills:

* Experience with any other advanced verification environments and
  languages such as Testbuilder, or C/C++ based environments.
* Experience with the verification of significant multi-ASIC/FPGA
  designs.
* Experience working with complex bus functional models.
* Experience with the verification of significant multi-ASIC/FPGA
  designs.
* Experience with PCI Express, USB, CAN, FlexRay, Hypertransport, AHB,
  Ethernet, ATM, SONET, CoreConnect.
* Experience with microprocessor development or multi-processor design.

 

Ability to travel domestically and internationally for 1-3 months at a time is a
plus.
