ABAP Enhancement Developer

BearingPoint Public Services is currently searching for experienced ABAP Developer.


Description:
Individual will be responsible for writing technical interface specifications. The individual will also need to be able to prototype designs and eventually create the actual work product.


Essential Requirements:
Technical: Strong applied knowledge of SAP R/3 software ABAP/4 language for the development of customized business process interfaces between SAP and legacy systems and EDI trade messages. Knowledge of business requirements analysis, SAP ABAP/4 development tools, SAP programming technologies (ABAP Workbench, RFC, event scheduling, security authorization concepts, use of Smartforms or SAPScript, ALE/IDOC(a must), object orientated coding, CRM or Workflow experience a plus, SAP On-line programming methods ). AIX file system, and AIX interface development tools. General knowledge of client server systems architecture and data modeling experience are a plus.
Functional: Knowledge of business requirements analysis. Packaged Software Implementation methodologies such as Ascendant-SDLC or ASAP, business Systems development, design, and code. SAP data mapping skills.
Years of Experience: 3 years minimum and SAP 4.6 and above.
US Citizenship is required for Security Clearance.

Preferred:
Technical: Strong ALE/IDOC and EDI experience. ABAP development tools.
Functional: Knowledge of business requirements analysis. Ability to create a technical spec from a functional spec.
