AIX Server Consolidation Engineer
We are in immediate need of AIX Server Specialists for a server consolidation project for a long term (minimum one year) contract with our Fortune 50 customer. We are looking for AIX server specialists who are experienced in data center moves or server consolidation. To qualify for this position you must have both AIX system administration and data center move or server consolidation experience as well as knowledge of IBM products; specifically pSeries servers. Candidates must have lived in the United States for the past 7 years, have a willingness to travel 100% and live within 50 miles of a major airport.
Specific Skills:
- AIX (V4.3 - V5.3)
- pSeries Technology
- Physical Consolidation experience
- Application Consolidation experience
- Virtualization technologies (Virtual I/O, micropartitioning, work load manager, etc)
- Project lifecycle understanding
- Travel 100% Monday through Friday (home on the weekend)
