AS/400 RPG Programmer

We have an immediate opening in our Cleveland, OH office for an experienced AS/400 RPG Programmer.

Main Responsibilities:
Support, maintain and modify proprietary RPG software applications and assist with general AS/400 system maintenance and configuration: Modify existing RPG programs to add new functionality or maintain previously deployed functionality. Develop new custom applications to support business requirements. Assist with database design. Assist with AS/400 system configuration and maintenance.Minimum Requirements:Experience: At least 5 years experience in RPG programming in AS/400 or S/36 environments. Strong database design experience. Experience with S/36 systems. Deep working knowledge of OS/400. Experience with design development tools. Experience with S/36 conversion to AS/400 native mode preferred but not required. Manufacturing applications development experience a plus.Skills Required: Proficiency programming in RPG III and IV. Familiarity with embedded SQL preferred but not required. Meticulous attention to details. Strong organizational and project management skills.
