Description:

Participate in ongoing technical customization and programming support effort on mission critical Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application used by worldwide Sales and Marketing organization.  Responsibilities include improving ease-of-use, building custom modules to meet changing business needs, implementation and customization of latest product features, and managing and migrating vast array of business rules as new versions of product become available. Position also involves integration of application with Information Builders' tools and operational systems.

 

Candidate will be involved in developing  client and server side pages using javascript, vbscript,  ASP  and creating custom server-based .NET business objects.  Also requires development and support of MS SQL Server stored procedures and triggers used to compliment application's business components and reporting data marts. Growth opportunities in team and project management  for self motivated individual. 

 

Requirements:

Experience with web development of business applications is required.  Will have participated in design/support during full project cycle for enterprise system, preferably with a CRM application.

 

Technical skills include minimum 5 years development with ASP 3.0, including in-depth understanding of VBScript, JavaScript, DHTML and XML. Expected to understand principles of OOP.  Any previous experience with C# a bonus.  Solid programming and debugging fundamentals plus ability to multitask across multiple technologies is crucial.

 

Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server Transact SQL stored procedures, triggers, cursors, etc is extremely important.  Basic DBA skills would be ideal.  Previous experience with either Onyx Enterprise Portal (OEP) or Onyx Customer Center (OCC) a perfect fit.  Any working knowledge of Information Builders' products such as WebFOCUS or iWay a plus. 

 

Candidate should exhibit the ability to change priorities and return to previous tasks with ease.  Excellent communication and organizational skills are vital for interacting with Sales and Marketing team and  user groups.
