Access Developer Guru and Overall IT Systems Analyst
We are a small Investment Advisory and stock market research firm looking for a "Jack or Jill of all trades" to develop, manage and maintain our computer software and systems.
Our firm utilizes many custom developed Access Databases. We enhance, fix and modify them in conjunction with creating new and exciting applications for our day to day needs.
We have a casual, fun and low pressure office environment. Hours M/T/W/F 7:30 to 4:00 pm, Thursday hours - noon to 8:00 pm.
Benefits include paid health insurance, SEP IRA contributions, market holidays.
Knowledge/skills required:Extremely proficient in MS Office Professional 2000. Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications Coding, knowledge and experience required for Word, Excel, Access. Full knowledge of Access Database design and maintenance skills. Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, modify and upgrade existing applications. Ability to document all aspects of applications created and modified. Familiar with MS DOS and older legacy systems. Ability to gather and merge different sources of data from different applications. IE: To/from MS DOS to/from various Windows applications. Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, modify and upgrade existing peer to peer network. Familiarity with web site design and maintenance helpful.
