Job Description:

 

The primary focus of the Account Manager is to help customers achieve tangible and lasting improvements in efficiency, insight and control of costs through Bottomline?s business solutions.Account Managers are expected to manage multiple customer issues concurrently. The candidate must combine elements of project management and technical support with relationship management and experience in implementing enterprise-wide solutions, with an emphasis on growing customer relationships. Applicants must able to clearly articulate how Bottomline?s product offerings can benefit both customers and prospects, and proactively manage customer accounts to success. Sales support roles include product demonstrations and evaluations. Customer support roles include enterprise implementation, training, problem resolution, best practice recommendations, and technical account management. Account Managers are expected to play an active role in account planning by working as part of the Customer Services and Support team to develop the solutions to customer problems through technical understanding of the customer needs and issues and knowledge of best practices. They must be effective at interacting with customers at end user, management and executive levels.

 

Responsibilities:

? Successfully manage relationships with customers

? Improve business processes and support critical business strategies by managing the implementation of business applications systems for the customer using best practicesManage projects, identify risks and resolve or mitigate project-related conflicts

? Challenge conventional practices, adopt new methods, adapt current methods in pursuit of ongoing improvements to processes, programs, or productsAssess customer training needs and provide recommendations Conduct application orientation and training workshops  Facilitate cross-functional and/ or cross-organizational team activities

? Coordinate and provide training for users.

? Understand and communicate system architecture and capabilities, as well as help troubleshoot and resolve reported problems.

? Prepare documentation, such as project plans, product requirements, functional specifications, as well as status and business reports.

? Manage timelines, budgets and entire implementation and upgrade process.

? Assist with product vision, roadmap, strategy, objectives and features.

? Provide support for the Sales team as neededPortray a positive, proactive and professional work ethic to the customer and the people he or she interacts with on a daily basisCreate and maintain exceptional customer satisfactionDemonstrate effective time management Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills Develop practical solutions to support business objectives Analyze enhancement requests and create business requirements as well as functional specifications



Requirements / Qualifications:4-7 years previous project management experience with web based software implementationsBachelors degree in a field related to business administration or information management/systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, Project, Lotus Notes, as well as XML and EDIPrior experience either banking or corporate legal environments is highly desirableAbility and willingness to travel approx 35%
