Advancement Support Specialist, Advancement

This position will support the fund-raising efforts of the College by developing fundamental knowledge of Sage Software's Millennium database structures and of the data stored in the system. Specific responsibilities include: serve as first response to requests for assistance by staff; train and support staff on importing and exporting event data; create event codes in Millennium and on third party web interface; perform quality assurance tests to make sure information is being entered/imported correctly; create, review, and modify reports for employees and volunteers; maintain site specific documentation of training materials and provide training to new users; create and test standard reports for end users and create ad hoc reports as needed; takes on other projects as assigned.

Successful candidate will possess technical savvy, excellent customer service skills, communication skills and attention to detail. Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years related experience preferred. Experience with relational databases, managing MS SQL Servers (v7.0 or 2000) and designing crystal 10.x queries a plus. The ability to work occasional evenings and weekends is necessary.
