Job Summary:

The Alliance Manager will be responsible for identifying and managing Channel Sales Partners (Solution Providers, OEM?s, System Integrators and Consultants) in order to achieve revenue targets.  The primary responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of existing partners and aggressively acquire new partner relationships.   

  Primary Responsibilities:  Drive revenue growth and increase customer base through existing partner channels.Recruit, develop and manage partners within Envoy Alliance programs: Understand the Partners' business and align Envoy solutions to develop compelling 'go to market' propositions.Develop partner strategies for Envoy products, identify and negotiate partner deals, build executive relationships and manage post deal execution and roll out.Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate the value of the Envoy solutions to both 'C-level' business leaders and 'technical' staff alike. Conduct sales forecasting meetings and create annual business plans with partnersJointly develop sales strategies with partners and implement those initiatives by working with Envoy internal teams and partner?s executives, technical sales, project management teams.Manage, Track and Report highest priority action items, results, business plan development, marketing-related successes and accurate partner forecasts, sales.

? Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

 

Minimum Requirements:  

 Minimum of 6 years work experience with at least 3 years in alliances/business development, working with partners targeting Fortune 1000 companiesProven track record of achievement against sales targets through channel partnersSuccessful track record of recruiting partners and generating new business opportunities A background in the business continuity/disaster recovery or automated notification industry is preferred but not required.Successful track record of building and maintaining strong relationships ranging from senior level executives to technical contactsStrategic thinker with technical background
