Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
In support of the above activities, the selected individuals will use their expertise in Business Rules Methodology, Harvesting and structuring Business Rules and Business Rules Analysis to perform business engineering leading to the logical and physical designs for CADE Release 3. Specifically, the work to be performed is as follows: 1. Harvest Business Rules to include: a. Capturing rules, facts and business concepts & terms from documents, process analysis, code, SMEs b. Documenting the rules in a repository c. Structuring business rule statements using templates 2. Business Process Modeling to include: a. Developing and documenting process modeling using Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) b. Identifying the business rules that guide a process 3. Analyze Business Rules to include: a. Developing, when needed, decision tables, decision trees, business rule dependency charts b. Conducting completeness and conflict analysis 4. Validate business rules 5. Mentor new business rules analysts

Basic Qualifications:
Education Required: Bachelors degree in a field related to business analysis and logical design Experience Required: minimum of five (5) years in performing business analysis for financial applications Specific skills: 1. Business rules analysis and harvesting for financial applications 2. Business process modeling for financial applications 3. Business engineering in support of logical and physical design for financial applications 4. Object-Oriented design using UML, Rational Rose, or other similar tools 5. Ability to work in a multiple contractor team enviromment 6. Ability to work with subject matter experts from the client organization 7. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing 8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications is a plus 9. Ability to write business system, logical design, and physical application design documents is a plus
