Get your hands on the coolest, new streaming video technologies on this amazing, long-term contract assignment!

OVERVIEW:

For this position, with one of the world's largest, most successful software companies, you will be joining an energetic team delivering digital television over IP to help scale up the service for millions of new users!

Your responsibilities will include:
Executing web service scalability tests
Identifying and analyzing performance and scalability bottlenecks in the platform
Running tests to simulate thousands of users in a high performance test lab
Collaborating with other groups to roll out tools to various internal teams and customers
Reporting to the product performance/scalability lead

REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years related work experience
Solid C/C++ programming skills
Debugging and code optimization experience using profiling tools such as vTune
Knowledge of TCP/UDP networking, MPEG-4, and MF-RTP
BS in CS or related field
MS in CS a plus (may substitute for a portion of the required experience)
Experience developing tools to verify streaming video or experience testing video streams is highly preferred
