Application Support Analyst

We are currently looking for an entry level Application Support Analyst to join our Application Support Group.  As a member of ASG you will have an opportunity to keep pace with our ever evolving applications and gain in-depth knowledge of how they relate to each other and our industry.  You will work directly with individuals from every department at REZ-1 and be an important part of the delivery and operation of REZ-1 software solutions.  This position requires the ability to easily shift priorities, a genuine thirst for knowledge, and the desire and initiative to foster change and improvement.

 

Responsibilities Include:

?  Maintain an understanding of all software related system changes

?  Provide immediate support and troubleshooting for application and EDI related questions from internal departments

?  Communicate issues and the progress of their fixes with internal stakeholders

?  Work with Software Developers, Quality Assurance, EDI Coordinator, and Release Manager to confirm and/or resolve issues

?  Update and maintain sensitive tables within the system

?  Assist and advise on testing and development of EDI process enhancements

?  Provide back-up support for the EDI Coordinator and the Release Manager

?  Develop and maintain documentation

?  Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent experience preferred

 

The ideal candidate will have?. 1 - 3 years experience in an Application Support, Quality Assurance or Development roleFamiliarity with Software Development Life Cycle methodologiesFamiliarity with a defect tracking toolFamiliarity with EDI processesFamiliarity with one of the major relational databases:  MS SQL Server, Oracle, and/or IBM DB2Familiarity with XMLFamiliarity with Java Familiarity with Web Services (e.g. WSDL)Familiarity with Windows operation systems and AS400 (iSeries)
