Perform routine monitoring and systems tuning for complex production environments to ensure compliance with SLAs.
Responsible for coordinating routine maintenance activities for production environments including infrastructure and application changes.
Provide project leadership for major infrastructure changes and participate in planning and execution.
Work with multiple teams as required triaging and solving emergent application issues.
Proactively identify capacity limitations and develop plans to scale environments appropriate to business needs. May participate in performance testing and capacity assessment activities.
Work with hosting providers to identify and resolve single points of failure within production environments.
Administer and deploy J2EE applications in multiple environments.
May occasionally provide assistance to customer technical organizations on the various aspects of implementing or using PEM applications.
Contribute to online knowledge base of known problems and diagnosis trees.

Familiarity and experience with J2EE technologies, BEA WebLogic, JBoss, Oracle, Linux strongly preferred.
Background in systems administration is advantageous.
Bachelor's degree or appropriate combination of education and experience is required
