POSITION DESCRIPTION (H11): Following standard procedure, analyze existing computer programs or formulate logic for new systems. Analyze and devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharting, perform coding and test/debug programs for legacy and web applications/services. Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation. May implement database configuration and customization, planning and execution, user acceptance testing and user training. Assist with aspects of data migration and rollout.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS (H4, 7): Master??s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS (H6, 10): 6 months experience in job offered or Computer related occupation.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (H14): Education or experience background must include: 1) Full life cycle experience, 2) Java/J2EE Framework (web-based services, development and design), 3) Database management systems such as Oracle 9i or SQL Server, and 4) XML Programming. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
