Key responsibilities include:
Providing a wide scope of applications support for two vital internal systems
Performing root cause analysis and providing solutions for system maintenance
Ensuring the technical infrastructure is stable
Collaborating with business teams on system architecture planning
Developing and working in test environments
Analyzing existing software and recommending modifications for improvement
Defining and documenting system hardware/software requirements



A solid background analyzing and developing specs for complex operating systems and software products is needed. Candidates must possess the following skills: Microsoft Windows NT, XP or 2000/2003; Java or IIS; Sun Solaris; SQL; web methods and web logic; and UNIX. Preferred skills include: Oracle and Oracle databases; VB and other programming languages; and IBM AIX.
