DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

DUTIES
Associate technical writers use their knowledge of technical information, industry standards, writing styles, and grammar to create/revise Manufacturing controlled documents that meet process needs and regulatory requirements. Associate technical writers produce controlled documents that are accurate and clear in order to minimize operator error and facilitate the manufacture and release of high quality products. Associate technical writers evaluate and prioritize their assigned workload in order to meet aggressive production schedules and campaign/project timelines, and then generate revised documents using the authorized EDMS (NovaManage).

SKILLS

* Working proficiency using MS Word 8.0 and Adobe Acrobat
* Working knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (preferably NovaManage)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
* Ability to work successfully as a team player and independently
* Ability to prioritize and organize assigned workload to meet required timelines.

EDUCATION
? B.A./B.S. or equivalent writing experience required.
