Automotive Software Engineering Intern

Do you want an internship in a fast-paced multidisciplinary silicon valley research and technology lab? One that provides an entry-level foothold in the international ecosystem of automakers and automotive suppliers? If so, our automotive research lab might be looking for you!

We are a major international automaker's research lab located in the San Francisco (California) Bay Area, and are seeking qualified and enthusiastic interns to join our team. Candidates should be experienced in software development using C and C++ on different platforms such as Linux, Windows and embedded systems. Strong communication and hands-on prototyping skills are invaluable assets for this position.

Expertise in the following fields are a bonus:
* Win32/MFC application development
* RTOS application development
* Device driver development for any RTOS, QNX, or Linux
* Computer Graphics experience (e.g. OpenGL, Photon)
* 802.11x and other wireless network protocols, security, and configuration
* Experience with UPnP, MTP, DRM technologies
* Experience with SH4 architecture / platforms
* Bluetooth application programming and BT stack/profile development
* Audio/Video CODECs, media libraries.
* Automotive electronics and wiring
* Video/Audio signal and HW technologies
* Model-based design (Statemate, Simulink, etc)

The length of this internship is negotiable, but applicants must be able to work at least 6 months.
