Backend Application Developer with strong SQL Server and XML skills

The product, Rackwise, automates the design, modeling, documentation, and central management of physical IT infrastructure.

Our business office is in Burlingame; our development office is in Hayward. All of our development staff telecommutes part time, working in Hayward the remainder of the time.

Responsibilities

? Work directly with the Product Manager and Chief Architect to extend and enhance an existing database driven application accessed via web services and web applications
? Design, maintain, and extend the database layer of the Rackwise application
? Integrate system with 3rd party data sources
? Create data manipulation tools using C# and XML related technologies
? Lead projects as required

Requirements

? Experience writing stored procedures with T-SQL and with Data Transformation Services and other data migration, importation, and cleansing methodologies
? In depth understanding of SQL Server administration, operation, and optimization
? In depth understanding of XML and XSLT technologies
? Experience developing N-Tier applications
? Experience with the entire range of the software development life cycle process - analysis, design, development, integration, deployment, maintenance, and testing
? 5+ years development experience
? Excellent oral and written communications skills
? A disciplined, self motivated work ethic
? Legally authorized to work in the United States
? Familiarity with data center operations and design a plus
? In depth experience with Visio a plus

SQL Server 2000, T-SQL, SQL, Stored Procedure Development, XML, XSLT, C#, Visual Studio .NET 2003, .NET Framework 1.1, ASP.NET, Web Services
