Build Integration Specialist

 

The primary responsibility for this role is to bridge the gap between Development and Quality Assurance by integrating QA functions into the development environment.  This integration should ease the tasks of resolving project dependencies, creating and running test cases, and performing repeatable builds. 

 

In addition, this position is responsible for:

- Administering source code repositories;

- Administering build dependency and artifact repositories;

- Developing tools to integrate the various components of a cohesive development environment; and

- Integrating testing suites into automated testing systems.

 

Do you have these skills?

Familiarity with Java and J2EE, desktop and web application development concepts; and Competency with platform-independent scripting languages using and administering SCM tools.

 

The preferred candidate will have demonstrated successful experience in the following areas:

Played a role in implementing a development environment with source code and dependency management;

Worked in a continuous integration environment; and

Experience with Subversion, Ivy, JUnit, and CruiseControl.
