Build & Release Engineer

Manpower has a growing client in the RTP area who is looking for Senior Build & Release Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity.

Ideal candidate will be working with a complex build system that consists of scripts
and tools currently used to produce nightly builds, run automated unit and functional tests, and report finding to developers, and investigate and assess multiple options for improvement.
Responsibilities include:
*Maintaining and monitoring build machines, setting up additional build machines
*Directing production of nightly and release builds as requested by management
*Identifying issues reported in nightly builds and handing them off to developers
*Helping developers get additional unit and functional tests integrated
*Improving overall build system stability, fault tolerance, and performance
*Integrating or replacing aspects of our current build system with an automation product currently in development by one of our California product teams
*Documenting build system design and implementation

Candidates must have:
*Experience developing and managing build systems
*development with Perl & Batch scripting
* Experience with automated testing
