We currently have an opening for a Business Analyst.

The Business Analyst works as a consulting team member or an individual technical consultant on for-fee product implementation, enhancement, integration, or audit projects. The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and ensuring those requirements are accurately represented in the design and delivery of software products and solutions. This position participate in a variety of projects across various industries and must be able to adapt approach and methods to accomplish project objectives. Work will be accomplished in a team environment.

Qualifications: We require a relevant Bachelors degree and three to five years of experience in relevant industry business practices, business consulting or technical consulting. Candidates should also possess: ? Demonstrated strength in executing the requirements gathering process including experience with different requirement gathering techniques and strong facilitation skills to participate in group discussions and elicit requirements in Joint Application Requirements (JAR) or Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions. ? Understanding of and experience with UML; experience with RUP and MSF a plus. ? Experience with project definition phases. ? Analysis techniques such as use case and business process modeling. ? Strong organizational skills that support documenting, categorizing, and prioritizing requirements. ? Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, both technical and business focused. ? Ability to produce a wide variety of project deliverables that serve as an agreement between the customer and the development team, which may include documentation such as Scope Definition, Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, Functional Specifications, User Interface Mockups/Prototypes, etc. ? Strong problem-solving skills as well as the ability to provide options and solutions. ? Experience interpreting sequence diagrams, data models, and other design artifacts to ensure requirements are accurately represented. ? Experience writing test cases and/or executing the quality assurance phase of a project a plus. ? Project planning or experience as a project manager a plus.
