Business Analyst - IT

ATS Medical is a leading manufacturer of cardiovascular devices headquartered in Minneapolis, MN has an opportunity for a Business Analyst in the Information Technology department.  This position is responsible for the ERP application bridge between functional business units and the IT department and provides day-to-day support, project management, and thought leadership to cross-functional users of the MAX EXACT ERP system. 

  Responsibilities include:

? Work with key stakeholders and end users to understand business processes, define system requirements, and document workflows.

? Promote and coordinate the collaboration of business process and solutions across multiple business units, providing leadership to standardize processes where possible.

? Provide estimates, test plans, and coordination across project activities including development, testing and implementation.

? Problem resolution of functional issues within the applications at a database table level.

? Functional system administration including but not limited to: application configuration, profile setup, menu maintenance and creation.

? De-bug application setups, develop and support workflows within application processes.

? Continuous improvement in system functionality by ensuring sound reporting mechanisms to monitor business performance.

 

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business and a minimum of 5 years of systems related experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in the medical device industry. Strong working knowledge of ERP system modules including Order Management, Bill of Materials, Inventory Management, Procurement, and MRP.  Proven ability to gather requirements from all levels in the organization, savvy with end users.  Good project management skills, good organizational skills; detail oriented and thorough.  Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Experience writing query reports using Crystal Reports or other tools.
