Business Applications Analyst

OVERVIEW: For this position you would be a business application analyst and focal for the production system and the user community.  Your responsibilities will include:
Contributing to the effective use and operation of and guiding planning for the application
Assessing the business impact of change scenarios
Creating strategies and plans for the timely implementation of system enhancements
Researching and gathering requirements for specification of system enhancements
Providing documented business workflows for the application
Functioning as a liaison between customer and internal information technology organizations to ensure that requirements are implemented
Developing methods and software to support changing data requirements
Extracting, formating and analyzing data to provide specialized reports to leadership
Creating user guides, operations guides, training and communication materials with the user representatives
Developing, conducting, and monitoring application test plans
Investigating, analyzing, and resolving moderately complex application questions and problems

 

REQUIREMENTS:
10 years' experience in process, methods, and analysis and data modeling
Bachelor's degree
Demonstrated knowledge of database concepts, data management principles including information retrieval, information presentation, usability, and information access methods
Systematic and disciplined problem solving skills
Strong trouble-shooting skills
Works effectively in a team environment
Listens effectively, demonstrates understanding and clarifies meaning for others
Speaks with clarity and precision, communicates with a diverse audience
Writes clearly and concisely
Ability and willingness to take ownership of work activities and ensure they are completed accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
