Due to growth, we are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Direct Sales Representative in our Glen Elyn, IL office. The ideal candidate takes a great deal of pride in their work, has a high level of integrity and accountability, and wants to contribute right away.

Position Overview

 

As an Account Executive you will be responsible for driving revenue, building your pipeline through outbound direct marketing efforts, qualifying opportunities, determining prospect needs, maintaining a prospect database, presenting Vanguard?s solutions, and closing sales.  You will be a ?hunter? of new customers.  This is a team selling role, also involving pre-sales consultants and sales management playing critical roles in the sales process.  Your sales efforts will span North America.

 

Requirements, Skill and Abilities:Strong enterprise software sales experience; selling complex, high dollar value solutionsConsultative selling skillsStrong negotiation skills and experience in enterprise level software sales transactionsExperience delivering presentations and proposals to executive level audiences Ability to work independently, yet call upon key sales team members as requiredProven track record of consistently exceeding annual sales quotaExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTeam oriented behavior; comfortable in growing business environment5 plus years of experience in technology salesWork out of Glen Ellyn, IL offices;  Approximately 25% travelBachelor?s degree
