C# / ASP SOFTWARE ENGINEER

 

An e-commerce company located in Pasadena, California is seeking a self-motivated C#/SQL Programmer to work alongside our front end Web Team.  The right candidate has a strong drive to utilize their analytical skills and a passion for engineering intelligent solutions. 

 

Candidates must be able to use inheritance, recursion, OOP, algorithms, classes, objects, constructors, members and methods, threads, tree traversal, encapsulation, polymorphism, hash tables, static and dynamic memory allocation, caching, and efficient SQL queries, to solve complex problems.  We require a programmer with sound logical and analytical methodology, and the energy to learn new skills and share ideas. 

 

This position offers a competitive salary as well as an energetic working environment. Work on projects developing in-house systems for data collection, invoicing, shipping, inventory, support, returns, credits and online sales. Interface our web businesses with our back end in-house systems.

This position is for a full-time employee.

 

REQUIREMENTSBS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalentStrong background in the following areas: C#, VB.net, ASP.net, .Net FrameworkSQL Server and XML/XSL featuresHtml/JavaScriptExperience with all phases of the software development lifecycle and a strong understanding of object-oriented conceptsUnderstanding of system architecture, design, and scalabilityAbility to translate complex business requirements into solid application solutionsMust be highly proficient in web-based application development with at least 2-4+ years professional experience in procedural, object-oriented coding.
