C++/java Sw Engineer

The Language Analysis Systems (LAS) team, the recognized leader in automated name processing technologies (including name matching, analysis, and annotation), develops software to enhance global anti-fraud, security, and decision support applications. LAS is seeking experienced C++ software engineers to develop innovative technical solutions in existing and new products; design, develop, test and aid in the documentation of new product functions; identify performance enhancement opportunities and implement solutions; develop prototype applications to demonstrate customer solutions; work with marketing, sales, and customer support to implement product strategies. Major Field of Study: Computer Science or related. Requirements include: C++, Java and J2EE (servlet development); Embedded SQL,ODBC, JDBC and database development; Experience with high performance data structures; Experience with multi-threaded development;
Experience in cross-platform development for Windows, Solaris, AIX, Linux; Experience with developing API-level products; Experience with text processing or language analysis; Familiarity with software engineering principals and best practices; Experience in developing complex data structures and retrieval methods; Must work well in teams with technical and non-technical peers. Strong desire to contribute to a successful team. Relocation is available for this position.
