CRM Database Administrator
The CRM Database Administrator has overall responsibility for the firm's client relationship management database (InterAction) in support of the firm's marketing and business development goals. On a strategic level, the CRM DBA will help develop plans for integrating database use into consultants' business development and relationship management efforts, as well as ensuring maximal use of the database by Marketing. On a more tactical level, the CRM DBA will oversee and carry out work related to data manipulation and upkeep, report generation, data configuration, and coordination with the Elite system. The Manager will interact with marketing colleagues and IT staff to ensure the overall quality of the contact management content and functionality on an ongoing basis.
This job is ideal for a candidate who has the maturity, experience, and self-confidence to provide leadership and a high level of customer service AND who enjoys hands-on technical problem-solving and execution that requires absolute thoroughness and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
Three to five years experience in a technical environment, managing data and database systems, is required, with at least one year devoted to InterAction or other CRM system management. Experience supporting a marketing department in a professional services environment is strongly preferred.
This is a high-visibility role requiring outstanding communications and interpersonal skills, including the ability to use influence to build consensus at all levels. Accuracy, attention to detail, and problem solving ability are critical. Candidates should also have advanced database and data manipulation skills (i.e. technical proficiencies used for advanced use of Excel and Access).
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:Develops and executes CRM initiatives for marketing team, office managers and other admin. staff, and consultants Overall stewardship of contact data for the firm, including overseeing and ensuring consistent data integrity. This will include supervision of temporary staff, and liasing with IT as well as hands-on attention to accomplish tasks such as creating custom searches, creating Crystal reports, importing complex lists, resolving data change management tickets in the queue, configuration and monitoring data change management and folder dependency rules, and supporting synchronization of consultants' contact databases with InterAction Helps to develop and implement communications and training programs to promote CRM use and to roll out program upgrades Establishes and adheres to policies regarding data standards; consults with Marketing team to refine application needs Develops policies and procedures for data management and performs /oversees related activities including: working with Marketing to enhance data as well as to identify and create data tracking and reporting functions importing lists into the CRM system, for the marketing team and other end users helping keep data clean by (free from duplications, missing information and other "bad data") ensuring that mailing lists are kept up to date from returned mail producing regular reports and applying queries to the data in support of marketing researchProvides market research to support business development: find and retrieve court documents, set up searches in Factiva and other data sources, develop and maintain lead tracking systems. Undertake proactive research as well as fulfill requests
